Acupuncture
Acupuncture is the insertion of tiny needles into the body at certain points. Colleen practices both Chinese and Japanese treatment styles, picking the right one for you and combining them when appropriate. It is a personalized treatment that may be different every time you're seen.
Acupuncture leaves patients feeling relaxed and renewed.
Colleen loves showing patients how just a few treatments can make an enormous difference to their health.
Herbalism
Clinical Herbalism is the practice of using plants and plant-based substances to prevent and treat illness, integrating traditional knowledge with modern scientific understanding of medicine. Herbalism involves assessing an individual's current and historic health, formulating personalized herbal remedies, and guiding patients on lifestyle and dietary adjustments to support their health goals and well-being
Cosmetic Acupuncture
Cosmetic Acupuncture, or facial acupuncture, is a natural, holistic graceful-aging treatment that involves multiple therapies such as inserting fine needles into the face to stimulate the skin's natural healing response. The procedures trigger collagen and elastin production, improving skin elasticity, firmness, and tone while reducing fine lines, wrinkles, lifting and firming sagging muscles, improving blood flow and reducing puffiness. This advanced form of Traditional Chinese Medicine also addresses underlying imbalances in the body, promoting overall wellness and a more radiant, youthful appearance without surgery.
Non-Needle Therapies
Acupuncturists can use several non-needle therapies to stimulate acupoints or induce non-point related therapeutic responses from the body, including acupressure, moxibustion, cupping therapy, Gua Sha (scraping the skin), Tui Na (massage), laser acupuncture, manual lymphatic drainage, meditation and more. Non-needle therapies are a great way to receive the benefits of traditional healing without the use of needle insertion techniques. These work by applying pressure, heat, suction, or other forms of energy to stimulate the same points, meridians or muscle groups that needles would, influencing the body's qi and blood flow.
